Introductory Horsemanship Programs
Fun With Horses 1, is a 10 week introductory horsemanship program that will teach new riders how to focus on:
- Safe horse handling, basic horsemanship
- How to safely catch, lead and tie a horse
- Grooming, basic horse care and horse health
- How to tack up your horse to prepare to ride
- Beginner riding lessons, western and English
Sessions are 1.5 hours long, with six scheduling options during the week and over the weekend to fit in every family schedule! Wednesdays and Thursdays 4:00-5:30pm and 5:30-7:00pm and Saturday mornings 9:00-10:30 and second session 10:30-12:00pm
Small groups limited to four riders for attentive hands on assistance, lots of educational material will be provided along with Equine Canada Instructors of Beginners, or Instructors in Training! Eagle Hill Equine is conveniently located between Sundre, Olds and Bowden
The 10 week program is available only in packages, one child $350 plus gst, family and friend rates are $300 plus gst per child for two or more. Etransfers are accepted and Square payment option is available shortly on site to pay with credit card.
This program prepares children for Fun With Horses 2, as well as an exciting future as equestrians! We will be offering a full day camp program over Spring Break as well as all Summer and children previously enrolled in any of our lesson programs will receive a discount to attend Day Camps!
